Welcome to Scrolling and Snacking, my monthly column, that lives in your inbox, where I share what's actually in my cart, on my nightstand, and in my open tabs. No curation for the sake of it just me sharing what's occupying my mind as a woman, a mom, raising my kids, growing a mission driven business, existing in the world.
This month I'm traveling, which means my cart is doing a lot of work.
My Shopping Cart...
Matteau Checkered Shirt
I bought one piece of clothing for this trip and it was this shirt. It's paper thin and so breathable, which means it will be my swim cover up, work as a layer over a dress or tank, serve as a belt if necessary. Versatility whilst traveling is the name of the game. I want to travel with as little as possible and get the biggest bang out of what I bring.

The Perfect Sandal
This will be my fifth summer with this exact sandal, so while it's not technically in my cart, it deserves a mention. Not only does it hold up well, but it's supremely comfortable. I can walk all day in them and still feel cute (and comfortable) wearing them out to dinner.

Dirty Labs Laundry Detergent
I do not like sending my laundry out if I don't have to, so a non-tox, fragrance-free detergent comes in clutch for us, a little handwash, line dry.

Beis Packing Cubes
I resisted for a long time, I didn't need another thing... but they are in fact helpful and now I am fully bought in. Keeping things organized and tidy is especially useful on a trip where you're moving from place to place every few days, which, we are.

Homeopathic Melts + Support Snacks™
Travel is when my wellness routine gets tested the most. If I feel something coming on, I attempt to address it immediately. I always bring Cold Calm, ThroatCalm, and Oscillococcinum just in case, along with my Thorne Zinc Picolinate and Beekeeper's Propolis Spray.
Support Snacks™ also come with me everywhere, and honestly are one of the things I feel best about packing. When my routine is off and meals are unpredictable and indulgent, they're the thing I can count on to keep my nutrition anchored, convenient, delicious, you know the spiel :)

My Open Tabs...
These two Mamaland pieces have been living in my brain lately. Both are worth your time.
Prime Before You Pour
Our gut is metabolizing our estrogen, producing our serotonin, and talking to our brain all day long. The gut-hormone connection is one of the most under explained pieces of women's health. Once you see it, it reframes everything.

Your Gut Is Talking. Here's How to Listen.
A routine is as much about order as it is about consistency. If you're supplementing and not feeling it, this is probably why.

On My Nightstand
Art of Seduction by Robert Greene
Yes, I'm recommending this from a family vacation. It's more field guide to human psychology than karma sutra. A few founders I follow have recommended it. It's really a look at how power has always moved through desire. Applicable to most things in life.

Nosh of the Moment
I'm on vacation so I am eating every garlicky, buttery, cheesy thing my heart desires. But my go to on repeat, for me and my kids, has been pan con tomato. It's worth it to grate those tomatoes, people!
make it:
1. grate tomatoes
2. toast your fave bread or pan fry in olive oil
3. rub the bread with garlic clove
4. assemble grated tomato and top with more olive oil and flaky salt

Nosh Well
