Scrolling & Snacking | July '26

Scrolling & Snacking | July '26

Welcome to Scrolling and Snacking, my monthly column, that lives in your inbox, where I share what's actually in my cart, on my nightstand, and in my open tabs. No curation for the sake of it just me sharing what's occupying my mind as a woman, a mom, raising my kids, growing a mission driven business, existing in the world.

This hasn’t been the leisurely summer of the past, and that’s OK! Embracing minimalism has helped me keep a sense of peace and by that I just mean keeping it simple. Nearly everyday it’s the following on repeat and I haven’t gotten sick of it even a little.

My Shopping Cart

Carhartt Pants

Weather I’m working from home or on the road in flats/flip flops/boots, these work and they should because they are in fact “work pants.” I’m writing this from a beautiful little farm town in Ohio and they especially feel right here.

The Only Tank

This summer I’m wearing a Hanes tank, hand cut on the daily but my “dressy” tank is this Flore Flore tank which I have in a few colors.

Fancy Tank

Brow Setting Serum

I have been using Privet for nearly a year. The founder sent out an email asking customers for irl feedback so I, of course, agreed to chat. On the phone I asked her if they would be releasing a clear one, she informed me it is clear (lol). My eyebrows are so dark and bushy from using this that I literally thought it had a brown tint.

Clean Coffee

Some say ignorance is bliss, I didn't know about the toxicity of coffee until about 5 years ago. Between mold and mycotoxin contamination, it's something I make sure to prioritize at home, Purity is among the best.

On My Nightstand

Eye Rescue

I usually reserve this section for what I’m reading (the new Daniel Silva) but as a newly minted 37-year-old I’m focused on skin preservation and my eyes are a primary focus. Science-backed skin care is what I keep coming back to and this eye cream recommended by my derm is giving results.

Nosh of the Moment

This is the summer of crudite, I’m chopping up everything and letting my kids graze. It’s not just that it’s all there is to snack on post camp it’s that we also make it fun with a dip.

Make my ranch:

Ingredients:

1 cup organic whole milk Greek yogurt (preferably grass-fed, plain)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, but adds great depth)

1 large garlic clove, finely grated

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill

2 tbsp finely chopped parsley

1 tbsp chopped chives

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp flaky sea salt (or to taste)

Fresh cracked black pepper

1–3 tbsp filtered water (or kefir) to reach your desired consistency

1 tsp nutritional yeast (B vitamins)

Directions:

  1. Whisk the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon, and garlic until smooth.

  2. Stir in the herbs and seasonings.

  3. Thin with water or plain kefir until it reaches dressing consistency.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.

Nosh Well!
