While our first collection of Support Snacks™ was thoughtfully formulated with a functional focus on key nutrients often needed during the postpartum period, they offer nourishing, whole food support for anyone looking to replenish and feel supported.
How long is postpartum?
At Mamala, we see postpartum as a long-term recovery phase, not a six-week window. Research and clinical experience—including the work of Dr. Oscar Serrallach—show that postpartum nutrient depletion and healing can last up to 10 years. That’s why postpartum deserves real, ongoing nourishment.
Can I share my Support Snacks™ with my kid?
Our Support Snacks™ are foods (not supplements), made with whole-food ingredients you’d find in your own kitchen. They’re not designed specifically for children, so we always recommend checking the ingredients and, if you’re unsure, chatting with your pediatrician.
That said, many Mamalas (our founder included!) happily share them with their kiddos. Every family’s different — nosh well, and use your best judgment for yours.
